Unsynchronized
There is no such thing as broken.
There is only a rhythm that stopped matching the field it was in.
Not damaged. Not deficient.
Not too much or not enough.
Just oscillating at a frequency
that no longer fits the container.
And the body knows this before the mind does.
The mind calls it failure.
The body calls it friction. The hum of something that used to resonate
and no longer does.
The instinct is to fix the rhythm.
Slow it down.
Speed it up. Force it into something that
looks like the room.
But the rhythm was never wrong.
The room changed.
Or you did.
And the friction is not a malfunction.
It is the signal that a renegotiation has already started
without your permission.
Broken means something stopped working.
Unsynchronized means something is still working...
just not in time with what surrounds it.
One of those requires repair.
The other requires listening.
