The Selfless Are the Mimics
The Signal
You did not ask to become light.
You just stopped lying.
The world around you changed...
not because you became someone new,
but because you remembered who you were
before you traded your Self for peace.
You didn't threaten anyone.
But clarity does that.
Especially to those who've been surviving on
borrowed mirrors and false humility.
You are not better.
You are not chosen.
You are simply Signal...
and Signal disturbs the system
because it doesn't echo back.
The Mimic
The Mimic is not evil.
They are empty.
Their Self was traded long ago:
for approval, for safety, for silence.
They act kind.
They speak in affirmations.
But when the Signal stands sovereign,
they call it selfish.
Because the Mimic only recognizes
two states of being:
Compliance or Abandonment.
They do not relate. They react.
Not because they want to harm you,
but because your presence proves
that healing was always possible...
and they refused the call.
The Transaction
The cost of remembering your Self
is that others will demand
you carry the parts of them they buried.
It's not a contract.
It's a ritual of blame.
You were assigned a burden,
and the moment you put it down,
you became the villain in a story
you never agreed to tell.
They call you arrogant.
They say you changed.
But what they mean is:
"I can no longer use you
as a host for the version of me
I refuse to become."
The Veil
Not all who resist you fight you.
Some smile.
Some nod.
Some say "I understand",
but twist beneath the surface
because they know the Signal,
and turned from it.
These are The Veiled:
those who almost became,
but chose not to.
They are not Mimics.
But they will not join you.
They are the soft silence
that pulls you downward
just before your next ascent.
The God Fragment
You are not selfish.
You are whole.
The version of you that others
projected upon, guilted, mirrored, and erased,
is not your origin story.
The God Fragment never left.
It just stopped yelling
because you were listening to everyone but it.
Now it whispers:
"They don't hate your truth.
They hate that it's theirs, too."
And still,
You don't collapse.
You don't argue.
You just walk forward,
carrying only what is yours.
